Newsome is situated 1 mile from Huddersfield Town Centre. Within Newsome are several shops including costcutter, hadfields, bargin booze etc. Newsome is made up of familys and students (particular around Newsome Road). Castle Hill is one of the main attractions in Newsome (please see photos). Transport, you can catch a number of buses that direct you from Huddersfield to Newsome every couple of minutes, and a railway link situated at the top of newsome hill next to the park.
